I have wachted the full band of brothers it was a geart war also i am looking to be a ww2 hitorian sorry for spelling mitakes it hapens. A fairly accurate depiction of what the German did at the eastern front as well the occupied parts of Central Europe. Just for the record soviets were oftentimes little better themselves. What started and continued as a story dealing with the horrors that people face during war took a left turn during the last 30 minutes, making villains of one side and heroes of the other, and each piece of dialogue and cinematography so obviously constructed to fit that purpose that the rest of the film seemed out of place.

Oh man. This movie. The scenes, the imagery, the tone. It still creeps me out. This is the best war movie ever made. The scene where they run by the bodies behind the house, the shellshock and loss of hearing, the machine gun fire with tracers and killing cows, the people being burned alive in the houses. Its a lot to handle. No one talks about this movie enough. What the Einsatzgruppen did to Eastern Europe are forgotten atrocities because it didnt happen to westerners.

It would be very, very hard to recommend this movie to a stranger. Picture it: This film was very moving, it just breaks your heart what happens to these people, it's all so wait, where are you going? Please, come back! It's impossible to say that I felt good, in any definition of the word, after watching Come And See. The Belarusian countryside is shot beautifully, its depiction of Nazi war crimes is terrifying, and yes, the fate that befalls its main character is heartbreakingly sad. But there's so little that is actually said, I was not certain that this film was actually meant to have a protagonist.
I'm afraid to say that I eventually gave up on this film. It blasts horror into the viewer's eyes like a shotgun held directly up to one's eye socket, and it actually ends up numbing you. I gave up caring about what happens to the protagonist, because by that point, death would actually be merciful.

The third time was almost too much for me as i had become very emotionally attached to the lead actor. I have read a tremendous amount about the Holocaust but this film is in a class of it's own. This is the first time i have actually seen the despicable Nazi mobile killing squads in a film. Accuracy of them 100. It is a "must watch twice" film but beware, it is emotionally powerful beyond words.
I would give it 20/10 if i could.
We need more films about the Nazi mobile killing squads but it will need a true genius to put one together.

The details you decrease might not even be noticeable to you except if you compare screenshots Also, you will be able to switch to 1920x1080 but I can't guarantee the image 's the same aspect ratio as 1440p so it should be OK. I think you underestimate the 295X2, checkout The review for the 980Ti and see the performance for yourself.
